What is Distance Learning?
Distance Learning is any formal educational process in which learning occurs when the student and the teacher are not in the same place.

Who should take Distance Learning classes?
Are you self-motivated and self-disciplined? Do you have time or family needs that make it difficult to regularly drive to campus? Do you have access to and can use a home computer with Internet access? Do you think that this might be a way for you to further your education in a convenient manner? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Distance Learning may be for you!

How does a Distance Learning class compare to a traditional class?
The course requirements for
Distance Learning classes are the same as on-campus classes. The main difference is the degree of flexibility that a Distance Learning class provides to students.

How do students register for Distance Learning?
Students register for Distance Learning in the same way that they register for all credit courses through the Office of the Register on each campus. Tuition is the same, but an additional technology fee may apply to some classes.
